Neuroinclusive Career Planning

You’re not broken for feeling overwhelmed.
You’re doing your best to function.

Most career processes — searching for jobs, applying to grad school, or working 40+ hours a week — weren’t built for how neurodivergent brains actually operate.

That's why I help ADHD, Autistic, and other neurodivergent professionals and students get clear on what they want and create a realistic plan that fits their brain, energy, and bandwidth.

Stressed Young Man

You’re in the Right Place If…
Your biggest challenges sound like this:

Burnout
Drained by jobs that consistently ignore your needs and make it impossible to do your best work. Gaslighting yourself into believing, "it's no so bad." You need to be honest with yourself.

Masking
Editing yourself constantly to seem "professional enough" - in interviews, at work, even in cover letters and online. It's exhausting. You need to feel safe and accepted.

Analysis Paralysis & Perfectionism
Stuck in the loop of collecting and comparing job postings. Waiting to feel "ready" before hitting send. Fear of rejection or failure preventing you from moving forward. You don't need more time or data. You need to take action.

Executive Function Overload

You know what to do - but the second you try to start, your brain shuts down. Too many steps. Too little energy. And increasing frustration: "if I could do it before, why can't I do it now?!" You need clear guidance.

Bad Career Advice

You're doing everything "right" - applying online, networking, tailoring your resume for every job - and none of it is actually working. You need to know what works in today's market.

Hi, I'm Ash: a Career Coach with AuDHD + a TBI.

I've been there too.

Even as a career coach for 12 years, I...

  • Job hopped for nearly a decade,

  • Almost got kicked out of grad school,

  • Failed exams or getting fired for forgetting paperwork,
  • Hurt my health by staying at a job for too long,

  • And wondered, "what's wrong with me" when I couldn't start or finish a task that seemed so easy for others.

Then I got a traumatic brain injury (TBI). I couldn't mask anymore.

I now had insight into what millions of neurodivergent and disabled professionals experience every day:

  • Job search exhaustion and starting a new role while managing physical symptoms,

  • Disclosure, accommodations, and medication management,

  • Full-time work with weekly migraines and doctor visits,

  • And navigating medical leave, remote work, and burnout.

I learned firsthand you can try your hardest and still "fail" by others' standards.

We’re told it’s our fault — that we just “need to try harder.” But the truth is, these systems — hiring, the workplace, grad school — were built to exclude, not include, people with different brains and life experiences.

Once I stopped trying to fit into broken systems, everything changed. Now I help others do the same.

My Coaching Approach

  • Skip the Small Talk
Even in our first session, we dive deep quickly into your goals, what’s getting in the way, and define clear actions to move you forward.

  • Honest, Direct Feedback
I'm practical, straightforward - and I do not sugarcoat. My goal is to create a space where you can do the same: no masking, no judgment.

  • Action-Oriented and Future-Focused
We use what’s worked - and what hasn't - as data to build a grounded, realistic strategy to map out future next steps.

  • Customizable Resources
Whether you need a resource library, a checklist, or just your top three action items, you’ll have the tools and structure that work for you.

  • Affirming and Supportive
Can’t get to the homework between sessions? No problem. We’ll do it together in real time — no shame spiral required.

  • Our Ultimate Goal
To help you work smarter, not harder — with practical, sustainable systems that align with your strengths and support where you want to grow next.

What Past Clients Say

Most productive 30 minutes of my entire job search thus far!
I just did my first session with Ash. As someone with ADHD and a nontraditional career path, I came in overwhelmed and unsure where to even start.
Ash was warm, personable, and so easy to connect with and immediately put me at ease. They listened without judgment, helped me make sense of my winding professional story, and mapped out clear, realistic next steps.
I can’t recommend Ash highly enough. I left our session feeling grounded, energized, and confident about what comes next.
